Hello, I'm Monica Dare and I help people become stronger, taller and more flexible.

I'm an experienced Pilates teacher and practitioner in Alexander Technique and Hanna Somatic Movement. I combine these three movement disciplines to help people reshape, rebalance and realign their bodies. You will look longer and leaner with a hidden strength.

Staveley Classes Moving to Fellside

Our regular Pilates classes held at Staveley are now at Fellside in Kendal. This effects the following classes:

Wednesday mornings: 9.30 (levels 1&2)

Thursday mornings: 9.30 (intermediate level)

All Castle Street classes remain the same.

All prices remain the same.

Reformer-based 1-2-1 sessions are now available

I’m excited to announce that the reformer is back! I can now offer 1-2-1 sessions using a C2Pro reformer. Reformer work offers greater flexibility and builds strength more quickly than mat work alone.

Fellside directions

By Car: PARK IN BOOTH'S CAR PARK. From traffic lights in Town centre by Town Hall - turn left up All Hallows Lane - take 1st right after parade of shops into Low Fellside. After 50 metres you will see Sepulchre Lane on left opposite Quiggins Kendal Mint Cake factory. Proceed another 100metres into Booths car park. Walk back to Sepulchre Lane. Walk 20metres up the cobbled lane - (or use steps adjacent).Turn first right past the first cottage on the left called Still Point (or straight ahead if using steps).The Fellside Centre is through a wrought iron gate ahead of you and through a porched entrance on the left.
